I just made my final Wikipedia post of the semester. I commented how Alex Rodriguez went on to win the American Leauge clutch hitter award and about the new acquisition of Roger Clemens. I stated that although being signed in early may, Clemens would not be projected to start until the end of the month or possibly beginning of June. Getting up to strength and throwing a few games in the minor leauges is usually a precaution when missing spring training. You can visit this site at

Wikipedia Edit-Giants Stadium
I just made my final edit for Giants Stadium. I discussed how the costs of the new stadium will cause ticket sales to increase drastically. Also, season ticket holders will have to pay a fee just in order to reclaim their tickets. Acquiring a corporate sponsor to help pay will be a major step towards offsetting these costs. In Class Discussion- 5/14
Today in class we discussed some of the different media that was used on the Barbaro project. The project has been underway for approximately a year at this point. The main point of the blog is to build a community, where other users make comments about the specific topics. Due to the overwhelming amount of traffic on the site, a discussion forum was introduced. In order to maintain a successful forum, the origination through the use of folders is vital. These folders include general information about Barbaro, anti-slaughter issues, and several others. By creating folders, you are able to control what is written about.
Wikipedia Edit-Anabolic Steroids
I just made my final edit for Anabolic Steroids. I stated that There is not much you can do to help someone who is abusing steroids, but certain measures can be taken. The most important aspect to controlling the abuse is education concerning dangerous and harmful side effects, and symptoms of abuse. Athletes and others must understand that they can excel in sports and have a great body without steroids. They should focus on getting proper diet, rest, and good overall mental and physical health. These things are all factors in how the body is shaped and conditioned. Millions of people have excelled in sports and look great without steroids.
Wikipedia Edit-College Athletics
I just made my final edit for College Athletics. I added to the early programs subtital stating, President Theodore Roosevelt summoned college athletics leaders to two White House conferences to encourage such reforms. In early December 1905, Chancellor Henry M. MacCracken of New York University convened a meeting of 13 institutions to initiate changes in football-playing rules. At a subsequent meeting December 28 in New York City, the Intercollegiate Athletic Association of the United States (IAAUS) was founded by 62 members.
The IAAUS officially was constituted March 31, 1906, and took its present name, the NCAA, in 1910. For several years, the NCAA was a discussion group and rules-making body; but in 1921, the first NCAA national championship was held: the National Collegiate Track and Field Championships. Gradually, more rules committees were formed and more championships were held.

Last teammate Comment
I just made my final comment towards a group memebers blog. It was in reference to Google tracking the history of users. Although it's amazing that Google can track pretty much everything we do on the web, it’s kind of scary in a sense. Google will now know everything about people using the internet. However, this is a great tool for marketing research. Marketers must have been very excited when they heard about this.

I just made a comment towards one of my teammates. He discussed how he uses Windows Vista as a defense against spam emails. I agree that the webmail system at the University of Delaware is extremely prone to spam email. I must get about fifty emails alone that are spam per day. I can't sign up for anything on the net using my webmail account because my inbox will be flooded. In regards to the windows vista, I've heard some good and bad things. Like you mentioned, it's very hard to navigate. However, it gets the job done.

Wikipedia Edit-Yankees
I just made my second edit for in reference to the yankees and the new stadium they will be opening in 2010. I stated that The stadium will feature an exterior facade which will replicate that of the original Yankee Stadium. The outside of the stadium will look very similar to that of the original. However, there will be much more space in the stadium for retail purposes. The lattice in center field which is a popular part of yankee stadium will be on the new stadiums roof in its original color. You may visit this site at New Yankee Stadium.

Teamate comments
I just made a comment on one of my group memebers blog postings. The posting was in reference to the reliablity of Wikipedia. I commented by saying that although most of the information is factual, I feel that sometimes the structure of articles become cluttered due to the amount of people contributing. They need a good editor. However, I feel that professors should allow this as a sufficient source for research. I feel that Wikipedia will continue to thrive in the future.
Required Blog-Global Neighbourhoods "Curt Shilling's Blog"
In a recent posting in the Global Neighbourhoods blog, there was an article about Curt Shilling, a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and how he runs his own blog. After every game he gives his input on how the team performed and critiques himself on days he is on the mound. However, Shilling has a history of saying what's on his mind at inopportune times. Just this past week, he made comments regarding Barry Bonds and his use of steroids, along with some other personal information. I feel that by not keeping his mouth closed it becomes a major distraction to the team as a whole. As a veteran player, Schilling should set more of an example. You can visit Curt Shilling's blog at 38 Pitches. Other Global Neighbourhood blog postings can be found at Global Neighbourhoods

Teamate comments
I just added another comment to a member of my group. He discussed how spamming has gotten out of control over the past several years. I stated that spam has gotten out of control mainly due to the increase in advertising. IT departments should focus more on preventing these spammers. The attackers are also aware of the fact that most companies are unprepared for an attack against instant messaging software causing them to increase this type of threat. However, the number of IM threats is minor in comparison to the number of email threats that occur.

Wikipedia Edit-Anabolic Steroids
I just made a Wikipedia edit concerning Anabolic steroids. Today, the illegal trafficking of steroids has been a major problem in the fight against steroids. Trafficking in steroids is now seen as a more lucrative task for those who work in the underworld than trafficking in some of the more familiar social drugs. Steroids are getting to the stage of being too available. Therefore the temptations and the risks that our athletes are taking become greater. It is much bigger than an international sports issue. We are talking about a major health issue. You can check this out at Anabolic Steroids
Wikipedia post for College Athletics
I just posted my second edit for College Athletics. I commented on some of the modern controversy that has been going on in the NCAA. There has been controversy over athletes that are not paid while many college sports generate millions of dollars in profits. You may visit this page at College Athletics Controversy
Wikipedia Edit for Giants Stadium

I commented on statements from the general manager and owners of the New York Giants about the parking situations they will have to deal with when the stadium is ready for use. You may check this out at Giants stadium under "New Stadium."
Fourth Wikipedia Edit-Yankees
Today I made my first post on the yankees. I commented on the current state of the yankees under the heading "The 21st century (2001-Present)." I stated how the yankees have been struggling as of lately due to injury problems within their pitching staff. You can visit this at Yankees
