In Class Learning
Over the past several weeks, we have been discussing professor Browns website in reference to Barbaro. We have noticed that the amount of website hits have drastically increased since Barbaro was euthanized. However, On Friday I learned that an actual webpage hit differs from a page view. A page view refers to the actual opening of a URL, while a hit is the actual number of files served. We also discussed how some websites may be taken off due to violations of the website. For example, we saw how an article on ESPN was taken off because it went against the views of its sponsors.
